  1. Hi Luke! Thanks for sharing the articles.

Regarding the Sticky Church article: I felt like we were “guerrilla greeted” at our new church. Week one we were chatted up, invited to sit with folks, invited to two different home groups for dinner during the week. Week two the friends we had dinner with made sure to sit with us again, made sure we were invited to join them for communion, introduced us around. As a shyish person, I personally loved it. We are a part of that community now and feel like they are family, so it wasn’t “just” greeting. I would say it was more like they guerrilla friended us! I felt like it was a huge answer to prayer as we had bounced around homes and cities the previous year with no real church home, and we were really craving and praying to find a faith family and community.
So if you want my two cents… I say guerrilla greet away! I loved the comment about churches being more like car lots… Ha! I have a new answer to why I love my church so much. They treated us like we were at a car lot. 🙂

    1. Hey Kathy, thanks so much for your comment. Great to hear you’ve had such a good experience. Where have you guys landed?
