Weekend Update (11/2)

Weekend Update is simply a number of links that I think would be helpful and fun for ministry leaders.

Practical Counsel on Discipleship / David Platt and Francis Chan give some good advice.

Measuring the Health of Your Senior Leadership Team / Tony Morgan says, “I think we tend to under-emphasize the spiritual health of our leadership teams. It is very dangerous to assume that everyone on your team is healthy.”

Why Zombies Matter / Russell Moore shows that the zombie story resonates because it’s also our story.

Live FROM Feedback, Not FOR Feedback / “There’s nothing wrong with feedback. The problem is most people are living FOR feedback, rather than FROM feedback.”

Be Present / Propaganda’s new album, Excellent, is, well, excellent. Here’s the last track.

I was born and raised in Denver, CO and lived there through high school. Then I moved to Champaign, IL where I attended the University of Illinois and played on the Fighting Illini baseball team. I was married in December, 2001 to Molly, who I met at the U of I. In June of 2002, we moved to Phoenix and have been here ever since. In July of 2006, we welcomed a baby girl, Abby, into our family.
